Grim is a Dictat demon that exclusively possesses books. He uses his magic and immense knowledge of it to draw in primarily young and aspiring mages to pick up his book and read it. Eventually having the intent to teach them his magics and hold on to the book. While he may be greatly protective of the book, he uses it as well like bait.

- Grim like many other demons is a master of spell craft. He is entirely reliant on his magic though to do everything as his 'body' is that of a book.
- He loves magic. Loves teaching magic even more. You could almost consider him to be a 'benevolent' demon due to his seemingly thoughtful nature. If not for the fact that demons generally have a negative effect on the things and people around them just by existing.
- Grim only ever possesses books. And when he does, he remakes them into an image he likes. Completely redoing its appearance, writing and composition.
