I write to you all today to formally announce that the great house Rote of Dragenthal and the great house Typhonus of Calemberg have made the mutually beneficial decision to merge together. In order to maintain the Rote cultural distinction, as well as our autonomy, we have been merged into a cadet-branch of the Typhonus House. All Rote members shall now formally go by Rote-Typhonus to signify this change.
It is the hope of the great Count Leopold Rote-Typhonus and the great Count Ulric Typhonus that this merger will ensure a long lasting and stable alliance between the two houses, where the interests and assets of both houses are protected and maintained. This merger will do nothing to sabotage any existing alliances that House Rote-Typhonus holds with the great House Harhold and their allies.
- All Title Weight gained will first be used to raise the Baron Rote-Typhonus to a Count position.
- As a Merged House, Rote-Typhonus will not enter into a war without the approval and or written notice of the main branch, and vice versa.
- The Cadet Branch Rote-Typhonus and mainline Typhonus will maintain a duo-crown system. They maintain relative autonomy but use the same pool of resources and Rote-Typhonus maintain their initial namesake and cadet branch, and maintain the overall family's interests.
