• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Not sure how many members of the community are aware, but Mojang recently got a law team together to start taking legal action against servers who are breaking their EULA (sure took a while, right?). While we'd like to think positive, Massivecraft is in the red by breaking the EULA with multiple donor perks, such as:

  • 15% less damage taken in PVP
  • Open your huge backpack using /bp
  • Open a portable workbench using /wb
  • Keep backpack items on death (always)
  • Keep armor slots on death (always)
  • Keep inventory items unless you attacked someone within 30s
  • Keep xp level (always)
  • Keep xp progress unless you attacked someone within 30s
  • MCMMO +20% experience gain
  • MCMMO cooldowns reduced to 50%
  • Faction power tripled: You get 60 instead of 20
  • Faction power regeneration speed x3
  • Get 750 ingame money per premium month
  • See others money using /money show <player>
  • See others money using /money top [page=1]
  • Use /fix to repair 5 items daily
  • Craft horse armor
  • Craft and use name tags
  • Walk uphill with ease using the /autojump command
  • Decapitate players (10% chance) and mobs (1% chance)
  • Join servers even if they are full

So this is everything listed on the donor pages which violates Mojang's EULA, if you weren't aware. While Massivecraft did comply to the EULA for a short time, they did revert themselves back to violation after. Majorly, the big issue about this is if Mojang forces Massivecraft to comply, these perks must/will be eradicated, which seems great to any non-donor. But, there will be no incentive to donate, and the server will achieve sufficient money. So, what's your thoughts?

Imma just tag @MonMarty this was on the forums before. For the record, it isn't wise to discuss this openly.

As Monmarty has stated before, they're not going to do anything until the EULA is forced onto MassiveCraft. Until then, it will remain the same. But I'll tell you if they made nonprems as equal as the current premium rank, id never pay for premium again.

But still, it isn't wise to ignore it. The thread before this appeared as if MonMarty was trying to sweep it under the rug, which is... concerning. I'm just sorta afraid this server isn't going to be ready when the EULA Enforcers come.

We arent sweeping anything under the rug, let us worry about that part and stop spamming every post you can about it, you are now just creating a panic frenzy. Just trust that we have plans and everything under control.
