• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Rewrite prompted by PM's. Hadn't planned on it, but inquiries into the subject caused me to whip it out in one evening. The changes are simple but comprehensive:

https://wiki.massivecraft.com/Sihndar

  • Fixed up the intro to be more positive
  • Age modified from 150 yrs to 300
  • Renamed from Drowdar to Sihndar
  • Removed the Northern Taint
  • Changed reproduction mechanics to accomodate
  • Simplified personality while adding an Altalar corruption principle
  • Added the 3 way +1 Powers of the Taint that strengthened the Sihndar Demon hunting theme by giving them more up to date powers to reflect their anti Void and anti Exist powers that had become outdated and useless since recent Magic updates. The Sihndar should be feared by Silven, Mages and Abberrants as their hard counter, and should as such also be respected as such.
  • Added internal conflict mechanics for the Sihndar also so there was room for internal politics, including political structure for Regalia operating Sihndar.
  • Added a flexible aesthetic boost as well as a corruption based plotline
  • History thicc'd up and connected to Altalar history so it all makes more sense
  • Deepened Sihndar politics to enhance Sihndar living in Regalia, not make them out to be outcasts
  • Culture added tonnes of more stuff
  • Religion fixed up to reflect modern Altalar religion
  • Added new Trivias including Australian accent.
  • Aside from the Culture section inheriting some content, it's 11 pages of completely 100% freshly written content.

Generally speaking the Drowdar now Sihndar have a stronger demon hunting aspect to them, and we also inverted the lore from "Oh you should stay in Drowda" to "Oh you should go out int he world and kill demons and stuff", while setting out some clear directives for new Sihndar in the lore. The old lore was very focused on constricting the Drowdar outside of a continent that you could never play on, while the current lore is specifically designed to explain and support characters who live away from Drowda.

Drowdar is still a term that can be used for the Sihndar, it's an insult used by the Altalar to ridicule the backwater province they come from.

Do Sihndar grow taller now? It says they share physical proportions with the Altalar despite being stronger. Does this mean Drow now Sihndar have Altalar heights instead of Human heights? @MonMarty

They don't have their heights listed on their page and it says Altalar proportions, so some may get confused, as I already height-buffed my character a small amount out of assumption they were taller now too.
Oh well in that case they're as tall as Altalar ayylmao
