• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

The question I am asking here today is simple, if your character became a different race, what would they be like. For my personal instance, I chose my character Bjorn, a half orc. If he was, say, Cielothar, he would have never become a skagger, nor continued mining, perhaps he lived in the forest as some kind of hermit? But he would still hold his warlike nature, etc. As you can see, the race defines the nature of a character. It really helps bring out what is your character's "true" traits, and what is racially influenced.
Until next time, your mad friend.

PS. Bonus points if it's an entirely different race, like an Ailor becoming a Maiar or a Dakkar becoming a Yanar or a Ceilothar becoming an Orc

Conf Helethium - Ailor to Rashaq

Conf's biggest strength is his mind, his tactics. I feel Conf would quickly rise to become an Alpha, and using his tactics would crush any opposition fairly thoroughly. However, as with his actual Ailor life, Conf would eventually lose his "Family", in this case his Pride. After a time as a wanderer, he would eventually sort himself out again. It also is not unheard of for Rashaq to serve in the Regalian Armed forces, and I believe this would be the route he followed after his Pride's fall. Given how naturally he takes to leading- being an ex-Alpha- and his natural skill with tactics, he might eventually rise to some rank within the Forces as well, which I am sure would be quite the sight given he is non-ailor.

As far as personality goes, Current-Conf is very laid back, forgiving, and Liberal in his morals. I feel Rashaq-Conf would follow a similar way, though he would be much less laid back. His more Liberal ideas would hold fast though, especially given the pride Rashaq have. He would not be as liberal though, given most Rashaq believe the Emperor to be the Arch Alpha. He would be more than happy to follow his commands- though he may be more resistant to following those of nobles unless they earned his respect or he was told to do so directly by the Emperor.

Dakkar to Al-Allar

While at first I considered turning him into a Lampar, an Allar is a far more drastic change. Nal Roh goes from being one of the strongest individuals from a physically strong race, to possibly the weakest from a weak race. His mind would go from empty to brilliant but his outgoing was would shrivel. Just off of race, Nal Roh would immediately change into something unrecognizable from what he was before. He would most likely be an alchemist in Hadar, and may have even died in the Chrysant War. If that didn't kill him, he might have died during the Bome Horror outbreak. Avoiding that, he would have been enslaved during the Lo regime.

Orcblood to lampar, giant to gnat.
Sitting on Veridan's shoulder, wide of eye, simple of mind, and addicted to affection, warm cloth, and cats. Brave in his own way, caring and social, gaining simple pragmatic wisdom by watching, and learning. Erratically wandering the world from a drow's view. Telling little tales, and generally being happy.
