Declaration By Black Mares: Ironmasked

ON THE WORD OF THE BLACK MARES

After receiving word from numerous reliable resources that a small troupe of irrelevant individuals thought their pitiful selves able enough to challenge the power and influence of the Black Mares, we had to press forward yet another denounciation and a declaration of all-out war with full intention to mercilessly crush all they have built until this very day. The Black Mares hereby declare the following as targets;

• The Ironmasked Gang and each of their followers
• Mors Rubrum, the Leader of the Gang

The Black Mares forward their message publicly for their easy access, so that they know the storm that is coming for them. You have selected the wrong organization to challenge. Our informants and resources have made us more than well aware of your wrongdoings, the mistakes you have committed during the time you spent in our streets. The Black Mares fully declare war on the Ironmasked Gang for the following reasons;

• Attempting to steal and seize the Black Mares members.
• Attacking the Black Mares members with harmful intent upon denial.
• Attempting to sway the public to stand against the Black Mares.
• Taking a fifteen year old child hostage in order to harm the Black Mares.

These foolish mistakes you have committed show how invaluable and desperate you are. To go as far as to harm a young child in order to attempt to seize power for yourself in the streets that are controlled by us, you are very naive. The Black Mares will do everything in their abilities to ensure that the filthy mongrels who dubbed theirselves Ironmasked will not see a day of comfort within the districts of the Regalian Slums.

Our terms are simple. Complete and utter surrender. The leader of the Ironmasked shall come forth to the Black Mares, surrendering with the rest of their followers and begging before our feet for mercy. Repercussions are to be made to the Black Mares, apologies are due, and the Ironmasked will henceforth provide all of their supplies, weaponries and possessions for the Black Mares to seize.

Should our terms not be met, with the support of the High Court and the personal allowance of the Red Queen of the Slums, the Black Mares will crush the Ironmasked beyond repair. Their lives will be at the mercy of the Bastard of Emporium, the leader of the Black Mares. Their hopes and dreams will be turned upside down, and all their career will be forced into an abrupt and disappointing end.

The Black Mares provide one day for the Ironmasked to meet our given terms. Should they fail to uphold our expectations, strikes of terror will rain upon them.

(OOC NOTE) Lmao, we tried to recruit a kid we had no idea involved in your doings, then when he threw a knife at Mors Rubrum's face our member shot an arrow at him, which Mors jumped in front of. Still, have the thigh wound. I let the kid go after he helped bandage me up after he said he did not want to join the IronMasked, AND I never tried to sway the public against you guys. I told the kid that I have not seen the Black Mares do very much productive (as a character) and asked him to join us once more. So to put it clearly what we actually did was:

Failed attempt at harm a kid who assaulted our leader
Putting down of Blackmares in one comment
Tried to recruit a fifteen-year-old kid we didn't know what a Black Mare

The given declaration goes entirely off of what the Black Mares have been told IC, regardless of whether it is false or true. Therefore, the declaration remains, and you should seek to deal with it IC.

Upon the entrance to the Blackmare hideout, where ever it be, would be a knife cutting into a letter, and a mask next to it. Upon reading it would say;

Greetings Blackmares, I got word of your declaration upon my organization. Apologies for the child, however, it seems some of the information he gave you is false. Granted, I did try to recruit one of your members and granted one of my members did attempt assault upon him after he threw a knife at me, but it was unsuccessful as the arrow fell upon my thigh. I have a non-biased witness by the name of Eadan if you wish to speak with him upon the matter. Also granted, I did insult the Blackmares, from which I am willing to pay for that crime in gold or fight, however, I am unwilling to accept these declarations that are false. If you wish to discuss what happened with all those there, being the child, myself, the assassin on the roof and Eadan, I would gladly do so. But I will not bow to your feet for something I have not done. Also, members are false, this child is the only one I tried to recruit, from which he never mentioned you guys until after my proposition and after throwing a knife at my head. The slums are not my enemy. I wish not to make it so. I am willing to meet to discuss terms of peace, or terms of war if it comes to that.

The letter was responded to rather simply.

"The Bastard of Emporium has heard your pleas. You are expected to show up to the door of our base with your force by one hour to speak terms of peace. It is the purple walled bathhouse near the Rat Court building. Should you come with offensive intent, you will be duly crushed then and there. The Black Mares give their word to lay down their arms for this one meeting. Word is honour. However, should you not agree to hold the meeting at our location, there will be no meeting held, and our attacks will resume. Consider this our only offering of mercy."

The war between the two gangs came to a swift end, followed by the declaration held out by the Black Mares. The result of the encounter between two gangs was victory from the Mares' side, with the members of Ironmasked either being murdered or exiled from the streets of the slums in which they've caused their wreckage. The leader himself, Mors of Ironmasked, suffered a painful, traumatic injury by having his spine split at the hands of the Mares' Orcess, the Iron Boar. He was thereafter set free with the following terms established by command of the Black Mares.

• The Ironmasked will cease to exist, their leader resigning from the business of crime.
• Mors and his ex-followers will never disrespect or badmouth the Ardelan family or the Black Mares.
• Ultimately, Mors will acknowledge the fact that his life was spared on the permission of Black Mares.

Later that night, the Black Mares drank theirselves silly over their victory.
