THE LORD CHANCELLOR OF THE REGALIAN EMPIRE

On the matter of the Finance Ministry:
As announced prior:

After discussion with the current Finance Minister about the logistical value of the position, the Lord Chancellor has dissolved the office of the Finance Ministry, delegating all its duties to the Lord Chancellor. She greatly thanks the Archduke von Eisner for his diligence and work in the position.

On the matter of the Whip and Occult Ministry:
The Lord Chancellor is still taking applications, and will make her final decision on applicants on the 10th.

On the matter of Children in the Capital City:

The Lord Chancellor institutes the following law, effective immediately:

Common Law 12:
To leave a child unsupervised in Businesses on the Isle or the Regalian Prison and Government offices is illegal. Children must be returned to their parents or legal guardians. Orphans will be sent to the Alms Ministry, to be kept in its care.

On the matter of the Commerce Ministry:
The Lord Chancellor institutes the following Ministry, in a provisional state, and appointing Tuija Nordheim as the Provisional Minister. A provisional Ministry is liable to dissolution if it does not meet its intended goals and duties in a month's time of review. The Commerce Ministry is made not with the intent to regulate the Businesses on the isle, but to uplift them, and aid in organization and oversight, including reconstruction after the Sanguine Crisis.

The Ministry has the following rights, which are less legal rights, and more expectations of what the Ministry should be doing:
The Right to maintain a public ledger of Businesses and specialized Artisans in the Isle.
The Right to aid willing businesses with organization, recruitment, and advertisement.
The Right to direct customers and prospective workers to businesses within the Isle.

On the matter of Protected Peoples:
The Lord Chancellor institutes the following Officer Position: First Contact Officer. The First Contact Officer has the following Rights and expectations:
The Right to declare Indigenous peoples or nations as "Protected," or revoke this status.
The Right to advise the Foreign Ministry on Protected Peoples.
The Right to allow specified groups of people to interact with Protected Peoples.

In conjunction with this, the Lord Chancellor institutes the following Legal Code:

To interact with, interfere with, or engage with (directly or indirectly) Protected Peoples without approval from the First Contact Officer is illegal.

The Lord Chancellor declares the following as "Protected" peoples:

The Proto-Velheim of the continent Valadia / Sunnan.


The Lord Chancellor is taking applications for the First Contact Officer. The Lord Chancellor will not be entertaining applicants who are not versed in Anthropology, multiple languages, and have a general understanding of the geography and demographics of Aloria, as befitting such a position.

On the matter of the Alms Ministry Rights:

The Lord Chancellor adds the following right to the Alms Ministry:

The Right to approve the following permits: requests for repairs of buildings, requests for clean-up of vandalism, beautification, and other architectural repairs.

On the matter of Noble Factions:
In the interest of political neutrality, the Lord Chancellor mandates that no Political Faction meetings shall be held in Greygate or the Government Offices.

THE RULINGS OF THIS DECREE TAKE THE FULL EFFECT OF STATE LAW.

• This is very relevant for Progressions. Please keep in mind whoever gets "Protected" status. Tis' important.
• Wiki edits have been made, but I might've messed some things up, so ping me if I did and I'll fix ASAP.
• Originally the Commerce Ministry was the Business Ministry. I changed it because I think Commerce sounds nicer.
