• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Today will be yet another simple one. How restrictive do you think you should be on your members? I mean do you let them talk to all allies? Do you let them handle diplomacy? What do you think you should do with them in terms of building? Should you give them some leeway? Should you tell them exactly what they build and dont let them alter it in any way? Is it worth limiting the member's building style to make it so all the houses match?

I have been griefed too many times as a faction leader. I stopped all members doing stuff at one point for the pure sole reason of driving them out of my faction, it worked. Then I was convinced to open it up again as a functioning faction, and I got griefed again. My permissions I allow are now very strictly prohibited to /f access commands.

I used to have a faction with only friends I knew IRL. Now, we own an kingdom filled with different villages that usually my friends handle themselves.

On the greifing part, it mainly depends on how your leadership works with people. Aside from choosing them wisely as well. In my opinion, if they look like Herobrine, they are bound to grief. :P

I let my members build, but we have active officers so we just will kick and kill them if they do somthing wrong.
