I'm admittedly going to be breaking a few of the introduction rules here, as this is rather more of a farewell post, and a congratulations to everyone involved in the demise of our new faction.
My in game name is PurrFox, and the faction I created with my friends about 2 days ago is (was) called RenHarem.
Over the course of our time on the server, we got raided multiple times, and had to restart on several occasions due to the overall behavior and acceptance of our non-discussed "beliefs." There wasn't a single time where we had mentioned anything even slightly more grotesque than the general chat is already on a daily basis.
Due to the harassment of several factions, we are no longer continuing our journey on this server, which is incredibly unfortunate in my opinion. We've been nothing but kind, and respectful. For those who were on decent terms with us, they personally couldn't figure out why we were so globally hated. We gave many gifts to passing travelers, and appreciated good company, but were eventually forced to live underground permanently, despite these said hardships we continued to strive and progress, but all good things must come to an end.
Having 2-3 members on at a time to face against several allied factions in god gear, potted to the max, we were bound to reach an unfortunate and abrupt end. These said factions even went as far as to wait outside our base for several hours, whilst shouting intimidating remarks about our "kind" in a vain attempt to initiate a fight with us. Several factions even offered to ally with us as an attempt to gain access to our settlement. It's incredible the lengths people will go to ruin people's experience without having even tried getting to know them.
I'm sure this post will either be deleted, laughed at, or flat out ignored, but I thought I'd include our experiences non-the-less. To future players, I wish you well and good luck. It's a great server despite the apparent toxic community. Would have recommended this server to more people if it wasn't for that last fact.
And at that, I bid you adieu. Farewell former Essalonian brethren. We wish you well on your future expeditions.
