• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Normally this change would only be announced on the Wiki changes thread, but we felt that the change was so severe that it required a much more open channel of communication that allowed players ease of access. Below details information pertaining to the Tigran Race, the most untouched and unchanged race since the beginning of Alorian Lore writing. It was once conceived off by a Lore staff member who hasn't been with massive for over 4 years, and as such, the lore needed to really be revised into a modern jacket where the Tigrans actually felt like they were part of the world, instead of just a furry trope thrown into it. As such, the Tigrans have been rebranded from their childish "Tigran" design, to the much more adult "Varran" feline beast race. Without further ado, the information below:

Reasons:
  • Tigrans were outdated.
  • Slavery as a concept is not a good lore foundation for a race.
  • The race was hampered with "They are stupid".
Effects:
  • Complete revision of the Tigran race to become the Varran Race which has been rebuilt from the ground up, but historical aspects remain.

Player Effects:
  • All Tigran characters should endeavor to change their character to the new lore.
  • The old Civis/Tigris/Dahs system was thrown out in favor of homogeneity.
  • The old height/strenght/weight balances were removed in favor of a more interesting gender dichotomy.
  • Female Tigrans are permitted to cast magic now.
  • Tigran culture has literally been created, including hints on cultural practices and special emphasis on tail emotes.
  • Fur patterns and colors have changed.
  • Tigran statehood has now become a thing, we have expanded the Tigran States and given them an actual structure of governance and local society that wasn't just a scavenging society.
In short, the Tigrans or Varran, are now a respectable part of the lore instead of just an underground misery trope of thieves and stupid servant slaves. They are expected to square up nicely with the other combat related races, and will take a more forefront role in progression posts as an impact member of the Crown Alliance.

ill have to read it over more thoroughly tomorrow morning, but this looks cool so far from the break-down. I've personally never had a tigran char but IK someone who had like 3 over their time lol
