Hey everyone! This is my first time being somewhat active on any forum since about 2014.

Let's try to sum myself up.

My name's Ash, I'm a guy who's going through enlistment in the USCG. Huge fantasy nerd, I love anything history. I plan on going to school for underwater naval archaeology and military history with my GI bill. I'm a wreck diver, past lifeguard/first responder, Eagle Scout, still active with the BSA. I've been playing minecraft since around release, a little bit beforehand but I was young. I love to play D&D, and WoW, and I figured I'd hop on here and see what it's all about!

That sums me up in a very short, concise and somewhat chaotic paragraph, but I'm happy to talk about it if someone wants more detail.

Those are both super interesting time periods. There's so much to learn about the past that it's impossible to take it all in. Literally over a lifetime of work and you still won't know it all. Glad to find another future historian here.
