La'isse uses 'Brighid' as a go-by name, because
she feels the name she was given at birth wasn't flattering enough,
and as a precaution against Demons, or anyone who might snoop too much.
'Brighid' roughly translates to 'Exalted One.'
Child of Pride. Catheron's Scion. Brighid begrudges her God-parent for percieved inaction.
Ambition defines worth, and Brighid's
ambition is a lofty thing.
When asked, Brighid describes her ambition vaguely,
referencing apotheosis, knowledge, endless power,
but it's likely she wishes for more than that.
Brighid views those without ambition as
little more than parasites, the weak to be
ignored, or stepped over in service of
her own dream. Often, she will encourage
others to 'seek higher things,' and set their
ambition as high as it will go.
APPEARANCE
Brighid stands shoulder to shoulder with most of the Pride Arken's children. (213cm)
Her lone eye is blinding bright gold, as if Catheron himself sees the world through Brighid.
The rest of Brighid's appearance is a twisted mirror of Catheron. Where the God has muscle, she lacks it,
as if Brighid's focus on Magic over all else has sapped her of physical strength.
Brighid currently only has one eye, due to some mysterious gamble she made.
