Archived Bookmanager - Copy Books!

Hi reader!

I am suggesting a plugin called bookmanager
Bukkit link: BookManager - Bukkit
This allows people to copy books onto book and quills
and allows people to sell copies of books and may even
make libraries more common!

I like this idea. It would make books way more marketable.

I like this idea, but it devaluates the rare books that were only written once and may have some value, I am thus against this.

I would like to know how this interacts with the new enchanted books before deciding.

Enchanted books are saved as a different ID to written books so therefore the nxt is different. And monmarty, i does not derive valure some hackers already copy books and sell them on.

Cowboys already made a plugin for this involving a printing press, which personally I think is more than typing a command to copy a book.

Either way, it would be nice to be able to copy certain books like faction rules or manuals.

I agree with Blanclour, Aldur has a handbook for all new members, which keeps our scribes busy when we are recruiting, however, if there were a mechanical press which could do this, we could quickly replicate new copies, and replace outdated volumes when needed.

Sadly his last post for the suggestion was ignored for so long that he stopped working on it, last time. Glad to see it updated.
