Boat Racing Crap

So I was in the third round of boat racing. I was behind a guy, Morby I believe, the whole time up until the second to last turn where I finally passed him, went through the last gate, and then across the finish line. I jumped out of my boat, turned around and saw everyone else cross the line and get out. I was ecstatic cause I finally won something! Then one of the organizers says morby won... followed by someone else saying no spacegravity4me won. Morby then got to race and I did not. I feel robbed, even over something as stupid as a minecraft boat race. Nobody in charge listened to me, just gave me some crap about lag. I turned around saw everyone cross the line after i was on the dock! Whole thing just felt like favoritism or something. It's bullcrap.
