Core Concept

Matlalihuitl is a man who is intensely loyal to his faith and believes he has been guided down this path by the goddess Sinnavei to achieve the standards of perfection. His loyalty to his faith could only possibly be matched by his love for his sisters, who have stood beside him for so long in support. Armed with only his faith, he travels to Regalian Archipelago in search of opportunities to achieve the standards set by the gods.

Matlalihuitl is about 6'2" in height with a brown skin complexion that matches most other Maquixtl. His hair is jet black, and he possesses dark turquoise eyes. While he is athletically fit due to the community and society he grew up, he is not very muscularly strong. His outfit is composed of many colors, especially his Tilmàtli. The rest of his outfit is more standard clothing, still following the pattern of his colorful outfit.

Life Story / Plot Hooks

• At an early age, his faith wavered heavily as he felt Mana did not favor him much, and he was frequently excluded from other youth in the community.
  
  
• He has two older sisters, Yix, an adopted Yanar, and Metztli, his whole-blood Maquixtl sister. He often found comfort and peace in the dream realm constructed by Yix, while Metztli often protected him from bullies.
  
  
• As a teen, he ran deep into the forest, away from the community, for a reason unclear to those who knew him. In the forest, he had a near confrontation with a spirit, but in a desperate prayer for safety, he found himself invisible to the spirit. A light fog filled the forest during the event, and an outline of a woman appeared briefly before him and disappeared just as quickly. He is convinced that this was the Mistwatcher herself, Sinnavei, who came to his aid, restoring his faith but with her as his patron now.
  
  
• As he grew older, he dedicated himself entirely to Estellon and, more specifically, Sinnavei, wishing to prove himself worthy of achieving the standards set by Estel's pantheon (With the exception of  Cemaan's standard).
  
  
• He showed excellent proficiency in firearms as he grew older, and his elder sister Yix was able to haggle a traveling vendor for a Puretek hand cannon, a weapon he still uses today alongside his much more recently acquired Puretek rifle.
  
  
• With the resurrection of the Allorn Empire and the growing presence of Estelley gods in the Regalian Archipelago, Matlalihuitl decided to travel alongside his sisters to the Regalia in search of an opportunity to achieve the standards of perfection, armed only with his faith.
