| IDENTITY ◠ ❝Ah, but I'm rather simple in comparison. I'm afraid there isn't much interesting to me.❞ Aurélie is an honest, down-to-Aloria person. They are a diligent, level-headed woman with determination for their work, and passion for what they do. The majority of their time is spent inside, providing service to Malkaveau Nobility and completing endless tailoring commissions. Some may also consider them a social butterfly, making pleasant introductions to unfamiliar faces left and right whenever they are off work. While they enjoy finding themselves in social circles and engaging in lengthy conversation, at heart they seek more than continuous, shallow socialization. They hope to make a lasting connection, to find somebody who truly, unashamedly understands and values them for what they truly are - not just the flattering, affectionately playful persona, but their sentimental, sensitive way of being. HOBBIES ◠ ❝I envy your proficiency in this manner. I never had a hand nimble enough to suit cooking.❞ Aurélie always had a knack for tailoring, easily creating fashionable pieces fitting current nobility clothing trends. RELATIONSHIPS ◠ Aurélie grew up comfortably - while not rich, their parents were able to easily afford all living expenses. Their mother is a brilliantly skilled Tailor, from whom Aurélie picked up their skill for sewing and all things related. Although thankful for all that they learnt, Aurélie's relationship with their mother was bumpy. Since as early as they could remember, she was cold, calculated - intelligent, fashionable, a figure to look up to - yet devoid of deeper emotion for anything around her, including her family. It was Aurélie's father that taught the girl compassion and vulnerability, that ensured Aurélie's emotional development and fulfilling childhood. Aurélie's bond with their father was the only reason persuading them to remain in Ithania as years went by. When their dad returned to Amontaaar to defend his homecity during the mercenary invasion under Augustin Roca, and died fighting, Aurélie fell into a depressive state. The young woman's life crumbled in front of their eyes as what they fondly called 'family' was family no longer, left only with their unemotional mother to lean on. What used to feel like a warm source of joy now only brought forth a despairing memory. Feeling nothing held them in Ithania any longer, Aurélie left their home in their early twenties in pursuit of a new place they could call home as they sought a new purpose in life.
RELATIONSHIPS ◠ Aurélie's decade-long friendship with Luca V. Ashley is the only part of 'home' they've keep in touch with after having moved to Regalia - having met Ashley in Ithania before he gained fame, they have maintained their platonic closeness to this day.
