The aftermath of the battle of Pelignan Fields was quickly heard in Regalia, as the Anahera leadership was becoming more desperate for good news. It was heard in Regalia that the young Duke Reginald V and the Ravenstad-Moselberg-Kade army had been utterly crushed near the Chateau Pelignan in the Ivrae lands. A sudden arrival of Daendroque troops, previously part of the Daendroc rebellion, proved fatal to the rebelling armies of the West. Several high ranked Kade members were killed in battle and the entire Ravenberg and Moselberg armies routed due to a lack of support from their ruling families. The largest threat to the Anahera Protectorate was thus defeated in one fell strike. The majority of the rebels retreated northwards to the south waterline, a series of swamps in southern Anglia which formed a natural barrier against the south, though the Anahera troops only pursued up to Hinterlandia and Turall. The Anahera armies had to pull troops out of San Selin to facilitate in this victory, which did give the Pileran Restoration Rebellion an easy push to conquer the major city of Sancre Sud which functioned as the capital of the Duchy. De facto control over the Duchy was established and the majority of the pro Anahera barons and mayors were ejected from the Pays du Sud, the rebellion leaders proclaiming the Pileran restoration under the 15 year old Duchess Yvonne Peloise de Pileran-Eclaire.
The 4th Schism Religious war proved further destructive in the southern part of Vultaro and Montania, whole towns were put to the sword by both sides of the fight over religious matters. A third party started emerging from the two sides, seceding members from the Purists who believed a minor compromise could be made by accepting the Etosian Church as part of the Sancella of Union. This meant the worst of the fighting in Bastia subsided, but the majority of the parties who wished to continue fighting turned into aggressive militia mobs roving north on their way to Vultaro with the intent to eradicating the High Pontificate of Vultaro, the religious leaders of the Vultar Heretics.
On the other front, the Vultar Heretics were making major gains on the Typhonus-Lutherstadt rebellion. Without their leader Ulric and with the news of his trial, the death of Hadrian and all other relevant Typhonusses disappearing into hiding in cowardice, morale of the Typhonus armies was at an all time low. The final strike that severed the snake's head was a landing of Qadir troops on the eastern coast following a victorious battle against the Vultar heretics. Andrieu Anahera had made an undisclosed agreement with the same Qadir Emirs which had invaded Regalia not a full year ago, to receive their assistance in quelling these rebellions. The fresh and well equipped Qadir army smashed into the Typhonus-Lutherstadt army which was weary from the weeks of fighting and famine that started affecting the eastern half of the Archipelago. The Typhonus troops broke early in the battle causing an overwhelming flight while they left only the Lutherstadt peasants behind to defend the retreat. The Lutherstadt peasants were completely wiped out in the retreat, laying the road open straight to Calemberg. The Anahera army marched straight on to capture the city which surprisingly threw open the gates straight away. The city wished not to face another siege of Calemberg, while they were also convinced by the Anahera supporters that opening the gates would result in shipments of food coming in to support the population. What the Vultar heretics did instead was unforeseen even to Andrieu's supporters within Calemberg. The Vultars engaged in a full-on iconoclastic rampage through the major city of Calemberg, assaulting churches and temples on all levels, smashing statues, paintings, draperies and various other holy relics. To finalize their act of crushing the Calemberger zealous spirit, they set ablaze the Calemberg Dom, the cathedral's roof quickly giving way to the heat. Much like the Cathedral in Regalia, the Calemberg Dom's collapsed in on itself, the church bells crashing down with resounding crashing noises that could be heard far and wide. While the Kade Rebellion was still somewhat functional, Calemberg itself was now occupied, the Typhonus nowhere to be seen and their banners torn down from their castles and city walls.
In the far north, Duke Vladislav completed his occupation of the minor Northern Earldoms, proclaiming to all that he was not seceding from the Empire, but that he enforced the "Old Gods Sanction" onto his realm to establish the Old Gods as the only valid religion in Drixagh, reforming the old Drixagh Lordship that had been gone for nearly a hundred years. Technically the Duke Vladislav had ignored the legal proceedings of forming a Lordship by declaring it instead of petitioning the government, but could Andrieu really permit to deny his right by military might? The situation that seemed so hopeful in the near past had turned sour in the period of a few days, a barrage of bad news for the Anahera Protectorate coming to an end with a slew of victories. What more victories were to come?
