• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

This may be a bit of a strange question but I will ask it any ways.
1. I would like to know which empires are the strongest and/or most productive in businesses.
2. Which was the first empire to have ever been created on MassiveCraft?
3. On an estimate how many empires do you think there have been in all?
4. Finally which empires are still standing today?

An unorganized list of empires past and present, but this is definitely not 100% accurate:
Algaron's
SovereignLegion's
Silencio
Hisokian Collective
Torshiire

Oh geez, I could think of hardly any...
 
I can answer that from a lore perspective. I don't know whether you mean factions or canon lore. Hopefully this helps!
  • The two most prominent empires would be the Regalian Empire and the Qadir Sultanate. I don't know if the latter counts as an empire, but it is a huge political power on Aloria.
  • The first empire in existence is unknown, as it could have been a Seraph empire. The earliest recorded empire would be the Elven Empire, which lasted two centuries and ended very shortly after the Cataclysm.
  • It's difficult to say how many empires there have been. There was the unification of the Chrysant Kingdoms for the Naga, led by Empress Mikuni, but as of recent that's no longer in existence.
  • The only empires in existence, as far as I know, are the Regalian Empire and the Qadir'yye(sp?) (Sultanate).
 
I wasn't around for the biggest empires but I've heard of a few. The Imperials, Serenum, Lumini and maybe the Pinkcraftian Empire? Not sure about the last one.

You can remove that question mark. Silencio is alive, and shall rise again.

Lore and Factions are fine, i am trying to make a list for future needs.
 
We should expand on the details of this list for old time sakes
  • Pristinian Empires (long since fallen) (like, all 5 risings lol) No info
  • Second Serenum Empire (long since fallen) Led by Darkfeather, hosted factions of 9thlegion, Osai, few others.
  • Argonian Empire (long since fallen) Led by Grailen16, hosted many faction all with in the southeastern part of ellador. Most notable of which is Kayolin.
  • Imperials (long since fallen) Not an empire just a coalition of interest between Valyrians and Argonians
  • LuminI (long since fallen) Led by Beerando, if you were to talk to him he would say every faction was under him.
  • Osion Empire (long since fallen) Led first by mecharic then by octobergwen. Hosted a plethora of small RP factions.
  • Pinkcraftian Empire (long since fallen) Someone will have to elaborate here
  • Hisokian Collective (Still Alive) Started by mech in a swamp of ithania
  • Algaron Empire (Still Alive) First owned by Rooseus then sold to Sevrish
  • Sovereign Legion (Still Alive) This has lasted all the way since Badru. I believe always led by Zero_00
  • Silencio (Still Alive?) No info
  • Shizidao Empire (Part of Hisoka) No info

And a slight correction @Enderdonut 9thlegion was originally Badru led by Koertge.

There are no empires anymore, only factions who call themselves such. The real Empires were the ones who dominated the server, such as Serenum and Pristina. Even calling old Valyria an empire is a bit of a push, they were more of a kingdom/conquestors than an Empire as that was not their initial goal, if I remember correctly.

Argonia had the man power of Serenum and Pristina. We crushed Osion, and Arthain. The problem we experienced with the only war we actually lost before the creation of Imperials and the fall of Argonia was Alamut attacked with full force when no one good was on.

Argonia may have had man power, but not the influence older empires had during the times when 1 empire would rule the server

Also @Enderdonut I didn't even notice until now... Imperials were Valyria and Argonia... They didn't fight Valyria... That would be the coalition.

Raptum is known for taking on big groups of players with a small squad of 3-4, recent examples include SovereignLegion, Mithril, and Magnanimous(@spectec, did I spell it right?).
  • Quarth/Dorne/Thaelyn(Fallen): While this was technically a faction, Thaelyn was itself was a massive super power. Being the first and only faction to have nearly 250+ members, it fought Alamut to the bitter end, this was until @yapudetofu had some irl issues and decided to sell its cities and the faction. I personally consider this an empire myself.

I would not consider Orianis an empire yet, And that is coming from me the founder, We call it an empire, At the moment it is more of a city state. We have a ways to go yet before I am ready to fully announce it as an empire, Technical details and such. Sorry @MazzerDK but it is true.
 
We certainly wouldn't be as strong if we didn't have such great allies to call upon.

You do realize you can hide in a house in raid and not a castle and still be fine as long as there are no holes? Really, the way to not have your people slaughtered is common sense, just tell them to get inside.
 
Uhm..I am sort of disappointed nobody mentioned CoNoMaNtEh. Led by footymaster786 had about the whole deathfist/server beneath my feet(see what I did there?) I pwnd all da kidZ bak in teh day..;)

Some people see alliances as empires. Because you for an alliance doesn't mean you're an empire, I would say that an Empire could be defined by atleast 3 towns or factions living close to each other. Though reply to this if you have a different opinion
