• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Hello Internet, welcome to LORE THEORY.

So, I was wondering, how do Tresmisae Shrieks work?
If it's a mutation, wouldn't their ears be badly damaged each time they shriek?
And if it comes with tougher ears, wouldn't the Tresmisae be near-deaf all the time?
I think I have an answer! What if Tresmisae Shrieks are just an innate form of Deafening Lyre? That require

  1. No cast
  2. No targeting, it just targets everyone.

Think about it.

The magic itself would be making the sound LOUDER to others, not changing it at all.
As the wiki says: "Deafening Lyre mages do not magically increase the volume of their instruments. Instead, they influence their targets to hear the sounds incredibly loudly." So what if the Tresmisae are just influencing the people around them to have their ears bleed?
But, as every good argument must, lets look at the counterargument
"What if it's just a mutation of their larynx?"
Well, if it was a mutation of the larynx, that would explain the hunch, at the extra weight could make it hard for them to walk.
But non-hunched Tresmisaes can still shriek. So that's a hole.
That's not even counting how a Tresmisae wouldn't go deaf after a screech! Even if their ears were mutated (which, I said before, would mean they'd be near-deaf, all the time)!

But hey, that's just a theory. A LORE THEORY! Thanks for reading ^-^

(NOTE: None of this is cannon, and I just made it for fun. Unless a Lore Staff downright proves the theory below, I will never say this is cannon. Ever. Don't use this as an argument against a Tresmisae player. Alright. Thank you.)
(Another note!: I had no idea where to put this, category wise. So, if it needs to be moved, I'm fine with that)
