• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Inside of pvp protected areas, only players are protected against harm. I think that there should be a little tweak that protects pets as well, since the taming skill allows people to spawn pets with certain objects (Bones or Fish), even inside Regalia. Unfortunately, some players on the server are very rude and like to go around killing them, which isn't fair because in the PvP protected area, the dogs cannot fight back. Since cats are also easily killed in Regalia, it's unfair that one should go through the trouble of spawning a pet and then have someone kill it and have to go through the trouble of fishing up 10 fish again (with the chance of their pets being killed multiple times more).
Please add pet protection into Regalia.
Thanks for reading. <3

MonMarty stated that he would like to see no entities in Regalia, as they cause lag.

If you need a pet for RP purposes, then I suggest simply RP-ing their presence, as any animal that is inside PvP protection zones is viewed as easy game to anyone.

raynesummer - Maybe find some way to have your RP that needs the presence of an animal take place behind closed doors, where the average person can't get to you, unless you allow them to do so. Or, don't spawn the animal in until right before the RP encounter. (Just some thoughts.) Having the RP take place inside a locked house is most likely your best bet to keeping the animal alive. If it's taking place in a house, with you and a select group of people, and someone just comes and kills the animal and then walks away, you may be able to report it as interrupting role play.

Well that's the thing, people do interrupt my roleplay when killing my pets. I give them away to children as part of my RP personality and then some rude person goes and kills it.

Yeah, I seen your cat get killed by some douche, I hope they get protection. It's just irritating and ruins RP, I mean who goes up to a animal and brutally punches it to death...

The same ones that kill kittens too, apparently. << Shawzie

I bet if dogs and such could fight back, the player would be dead.
