• Regalian Roleplay Rules

    1. Roleplay rules apply in this category.
    2. Posts are in-character.
    3. Posts are not anonymous.
    4. Posts and reactions made to posts are public. What your character says or does is known by all other characters. If you would like a reaction to be private, do not post it as a public response to a thread. Roleplay it out on the server!
    5. Out-of-character commentary on threads is not allowed unless it is specifically spoiled or bracketed, and/or highlights additional information for in-character responses.
    6. Meme responses are not allowed. This includes reposting the same content as the poster(s) above, or repeating catch phrases on a post.
  • Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

A Prosecution Against Holy Men

By the late hours of the 28th of December 305, an uninteresting cloaked woman could be spotted with several copies of the same letter, roaming about the park, Willow, and various other places of interest. Soon following, the letter below would be nailed about- ten copies in total- for all to read.

FROM THE PEN OF THE ENLIGHTENED
Denizens of Regalia,

Upon us comes the smell of war and faith from the farthest reaches of the Slums to the highest towers of our finest palaces. Though our morals be strict in most cases of the sane, many within the walls of the finest city of Regalia seem not to place their morals with the holiest being. Though She be powerful and almighty, the Sinners of this city believe her wickeder than the Void itself.

These Sinners say not to be that, but hold their heads high in white robes, calling themselves the carrier of Divine word, yet they speak only the script of the False God's. She, the Divine One, calls upon us the Faithful, the followers of the Divine One and true Goddess, to be rid ourselves of these false poets. They shall bend to the word of our Goddess, She the Divine One, or have themselves erased for their sins against the Dragons!

Brothers and Sisters that are Enlightened finally by the word of Her, hold your heads high and aid in the end of filth that is the Synod and it's false word! Do not allow anymore innocents that have been so wrongly lied to and swayed to the 'Imperial Spirit's word be harmed by them and their sinful tongues. The Emperor that dare hold his head so high and act so immortal shall no longer bewitch our people of Regalia!
Glory to the Divine One,

Remi Cousineau

(I just kinda stole the tags from the Synod Registry thread, I don't know if those are correct for reverends though)

Alexander merely scoffed at the letter, shaking his head in disappointment. "Somehow, I did predict this. I suppose it will be time soon." He began seeing to the accommodations, quicker than he had originally expected.

The letters disappeared from where they were nailed one-by-one, replaced by nailed-up copies of the sixth creed.

"The Holy Synod shall rule all, like the Supreme power of the Emperor, though granted by us. The Holy Ministry shall be the Ministers of the Spirit, much like our own material ministers guide our hands in the matters of the material world. The Holy Ministers shall be the Reverends, the Revered and holiest men in the body and house of worship. Their word will be carried by the Priests, the Curates of Union who multiply and amplify the words so holy and pure to be the Holy Law. The Holy Synod remains charged with the interpretation and the enactment of the Spirit's Holy words from their Unionist convictions."

After seeing this Eugenio Walks off saying to himself "Thank the Spirit that someone is addressing this." He walks off to the tavern.

OOC: Note, not all are gone since I have a feeling others would read them before they were all gone

Darcie remained silent as her non-descript Ailor runner fellow, Patrick, read aloud this notice. She had been awoken by him and she sat, wrapped in a blanket, gazing into the fire that burned quite strongly in her fireplace. Her lips drawing up slowly into a smirk, her eyes dancing with firelight. "They're certainly getting courageous I will say that. Best we start making our plans, dear Patrick."

Lazaruz's eyes raced about the paper, a looming concern forming in his mind. Things truely were going from bad to worse.. He'd make sure his blade was sharp and his thoughts focused in the days to follow..

Ra'Narin nods slowly to himself as someone else reads the paper out loud. It does feel rather ridiculous that people are acting so foolishly about the Dragon. She's been almost tame against the anger the Regalians have shown against her. Honestly, he'd have done the same. With any luck the people will come to their senses. Things aren't so bad, no need to overreact.

Clank, clank, clank, the tired Violet battle bard- Benjamin Journey, watched with a twinkle in his Jade pupils as the letters were removed. He nodded in agreement, his arms crossed over his armor.
"At least we are doing something about this... I was starting to think I was going mad..."

Aelfric stood in a chamber which found itself in the Cathedral, preparing. A curate shuffled in speaking towards the elderly Reverend, holding a copy of the parchment. Aherne eased into a seat, grasping the parchment and sending the curate a nod of gratitude. His eyes soon raced through every word the notice held, before his gaze drifted to the fireplace which held a lit crackling fire. Surprisingly, his visage did not hold anger, nor distaste. It just depicted a cold feeling inside him, though this covered the anger, and distaste that he felt. Soon, the elderly Reverend spoke, "Soon, that beast shall perish in the flames of Unionism, and this individual will see the foolishness they held." Aelfric then held the notice towards the curate, sending him once more, a nod and a, "Spirit's Blessings." before the elderly Ailor grasped the armrests, pushing himself from the seat, his right leg rose from the ground, and he returned to preparing.

Rosalia Heinrich; Her eyebrows creased in a frown scoffing as the words were read to her. Clenching her fist " Foolish person, Turning against their own kind in order to save their own skin. Dragon worshippers will get their karma soon, just wait. Loyal Unionist's will have a comeback, must they be warned" muttering under her breath before dismissing her courier.

Others can Roleplay as if they saw the letters before they were torn down, but because your character does not have access to a printing press, you cannot reason that there are enough copies to evade being torn down completely. To do this is power gaming, because it implies that the Synod, a government-sanctioned religious organization with many resources, wasn't thorough enough to remove all of the posters that were posted in very public locations, thus forcing humiliation on the group.

Additionally, please keep OOC replies off of Regalian Roleplay threads. This post is an exception because I am clarifying the rules of this section. Thanks!
