• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Will Massive be able to go to the new 1.8 enchantment system that requires lapis?

I assume so, when it updates??? [Meaning when it's solely 1.8 or something like that.]
I don't think they would take out vanilla features.

Enchantments are going to be crazy when we update. I tested it out for myself and for what used to be 30 levels to get a good enchantment is now about 3 levels and 3 lapis. My testing might be wrong idk

God tools for everyone!
*sigh*

Mojang needs to make a replacement for bukkit in order for Massive to "really" update the server since you knaw... Bukkit is dead x.x

You need a base level of 30 to get a level 30 enchant then it takes 3 lapis and 3 levels to get it.

Sure you could find a spot with tons of resources in Teled and wait for it to reset, but it takes too long to reset to really have more of an effect on the economy than just mining normally

It depends on how well you map it out. A complex enough map of valuable resources could keep you busy for quite some time regardless of how long it takes to reset.
My statement is theoretical though. I haven't seen anyone go this far yet. Nor have I found anyone willing to go this far apart from myself.

I heard that the bikkits will be updated at or after december so the server will most likely reach 1.8 then. but we all know our God Kay will need lots of time to get things ready for the change.
