"Stand In The Light Of The Falling Star"
The Ire Marsh, Shadow Isles
Easily one of the largest and most organized tribes on the Shadow Isles, the Pelinelion tribe has long exerted their influence over smaller tribes by holding control over significant tracks of land and sponsoring lavish festivities. Though their most promising attributes are their abundance, and their absolute zealotry towards the Void Gods.
Finding service in rich and noble households across Aloria, the Pelinelions work with one common purpose: to infiltrate and abolish established order. Occupying a wide range of disciplines and possessing magics from both ends of the spectrum the Pelinelion tribe has proven themselves to be a force to be reckoned with in and out of the Shadow Isles. Their most prized accomplishments as of recent are Umon Pelinelion's involvement with the now fallen Lo family, and the increased number of members infiltrating and integrating into Regalia.

After the fall of the first Shadow Council, former patriarch Pephennas Telledrossa fled the original Shendar homeland in favor of the Shadow Isles. Once there he quickly established himself by negotiating himself into another Shendar family by the name of the Peline and quickly seizing power by manipulation of their eldest daughter Duvail. Afterwards he continued to take control of the parts of the Shadow Isles he inhabited through negotiation of marriages and some occasional combat interactions with other tribes. As he has recently passed there is a sort of power struggle for the position of patriarch in the family, especially among his mistresses and their children.

The Pelinelion Tribe is made up of the ruling tribe, the Peline, and the two subservient tribes, the Rhysgaht and the Valsatra. Each tribe has significant characteristics and is composed of a certain type of Shendar. Within their controlled lands on the Shadow Isles an tribe member uses their tribe name as their surname, though anywhere else all members use the name Pelinelion. The entirety of the tribes consists of Shendar born into it, as well as those who have been adopted in. Despite clear differences all the tribes live in relative harmony despite some familiar competition and support each other.
The Peline
The Peline tribe is the name for those born to Pephennas and Duvail, and is primarily composed of more civilized looking and sounding Shendar. The Peline are most often practitioners of Mind Magic or alchemy and are commonly found in service to noble houses or other such official jobs when not in residence on the Shadow Isles. The Peline are also known for their fierce devotion to the Black Betrayer and the Bleeding Crown. This tribe is the smallest yet most renowned.
- Members of the Peline tribe are few and far between, but anyone can apply to play one.
- They usually exhibit an intense amount of arrogance and pride for the Shendar race and the family.
- Members are always either mages or a part of an intellect school, and should never be combat based.
- Members have brown colored eyes and strong, angular features.
The Rhysgaht tribe is the middle bridge between the Peline and the Valsatra. While the Peline often live as opulent lives as they can on the Shadow Isles, the Rhysgaht make up a majority of the memebrs who practice tradeskills such as Alchemy or medicine, as well as some limited experience in exotic magic and combat skills. The misfits of the tribe belong in the Rhysgaht.
- Members of the Rhysgaht are either direct descendants of Duvail and Sahrayil or are adopted.
- Rhysgaht Shendar are of every personality and physicality.
- The Rhysgaht Shendar are generally misfits, and are also very commonly Silven.
- Members can practice any form of magic, though are banned from involvement in Demon and Death.
- Members of the Rhysgaht are often world wanderers, and choose to leave the Shadow Isles and attach to outside groups to dismantle them from within.
The Valsatra are widely considered the lowest members of the larger Pelinelion tribe, and are largely composed of the more shamanistic and crude Shendar. Oddly enough they are the most Shendar-like, though are often less refined in speech and dress than the other two tribes. Shendar of the Valsatra are nearly always trained in Death or Demon Magic, though have been known to also engage in subterfuge and some undesirable trades.
- Members of the Valsatra are generally more chaotic and are commonly known to practice Death and Demon Magic.
- Valsatra Pelinelions, while being chaotic, still do not go and actively seek chaos. Their form of chaos is more apparent, but also should be done subtly as to keep a low profile.
- Members of the Valsatra have Blue or Green eyes, are are commonly illiterate though not unintelligent.
- Valsatra Pelinelion who do not practice magic are often put into dirty or undesirable trades.
General Rules
All members are expected to uphold server rules.
I expect you to play this character, though I am fine with it being a secondary.
I expect good IC and OOC conduct, which is subject to my opinion.
You should be self-motivated to do things, you will have help but I won't condone hand holding.
Please do not engage in any unsavory conduct.
OOC Notes:
This family is meant to be a conglomerate, meaning that anyone with a Shendar character is welcome to join with approval from me.
While there are only a few characters listed above, there is an infinite number available and I am very open to ideas.
This is going to be something I take a lot of pride in, so I expect you to as well.
